Super Market Mayhem is a chaotic phsyics based multiplayer party game inspired by Super Market Sweep. There would be multiple game modes based around different objectives to do with shopping or trolleys.

The game mode we focused on for the prototype was "The List" where the goal was to check out as many shopping lists as you could before the time was up while trying to stop other players from doing the same.

The maps were split in to quads/tiles by category, like dairy or fruit and veg, and would randomly generate and populate the list accordingly.

Props

Here is an assortment of assets I made for

Super Market Mayhem. Rendered images and an imbedded a

3D viewport.

The assets had to be low poly and simple.

With all of the effects, physics and other players all interacting at once it helped to keep the props lower poly too. Many of the assets share one texture map similar to a trim sheet, mostly ordered by the tile category they belong too.

My favourite assets from this collection of props would be the Cod, Bass and ham leg. The Ham Leg was one of the first assets I made for the initial submission to the competition and it acted as a key art style piece.
