Three Days of Freedom is a game my team and I worked on for a game jam. 

The theme was carpe diem and after bouncing some ideas around we settled on that feeling at the end of the summer holidays back in primary school. That realisation you have to go back to school and so you launch off to do as much fun stuff and staying up as late as you can. 

The player has 3 days in game to tick off tasks on their bucket list. We were having a fun time making this one, joking around with ideas and going for a saturated childish style. I took some inspiration from Rug Rats for the logo and we did over use the classic Super S.

I made the map within Maya rather than using the terrain tool within Unreal. I wanted to get a steep and sharp hill and it was just quicker this way, besides I had a lot more control on the UVs for the hill and foot path up it. 

The targets have two textures and a simple sequence plays when hit with the toy gun. Very simple but effective.
